Catacombs of Paris: The Catacombs of Paris underground tunnels are much visited by tourists that at various times were used as cemeteries. At least 6 million human skeletons buried here, along of approximately 300 km which are the Carrièrres.

Its French name is that, originally, it was indeed quarries. By the mid-eighteenth century, epidemics that whipped the population of Paris were the result largely of the burials performed incorrectly and the abundance of mass graves in the church. So in 1786 he decided to move all the bones to these tunnels.
